Welcome to Year 4 at St Monica’s Primary School!
We’re so excited to have you join us for a fun and inspiring year of learning. In Year 4, we’ll be exploring a wide range of subjects designed to challenge and excite curious minds.
In English, we’ll dive into wonderful stories and develop our writing skills through creative projects and class discussions. Maths will be all about building confidence with numbers, problem-solving, and real-life challenges. In Science, we’ll investigate how the world works through hands-on experiments and discovery.
We’ll also enjoy exploring History, Geography, Art, and Music, using creativity and teamwork to bring each subject to life. Our PE lessons will keep us active and healthy — and this year, we’ll be going swimming, which is always a highlight!
Year 4 is about developing independence, curiosity, and confidence. We can’t wait to share our learning journey with you and celebrate all the amazing things we’ll achieve together.
